Something for everyone. We have been here 3 times now, usually go when the weather isn't the best a none beach day in the last 3 years we've been to Cornwall. We usually head to the Pantry and order the full English served on a Shovel. It's a novelty, but we love it. I'm sure we get looks from other customers, but a minute in, they wished they did the same. The service has been fantastic each time and always safe and clean. The food is great quality and plenty on the shovel or plate, choice is yours. The menu has plenty of choice in food and drink. Pretty sure they would cater for most needs. The Jewelry is stunning to look at, we've bought a few bits and had a piece altered at a very low cost. Again, all the staff are brilliant. Outside there's interesting things to see and do. A few bits have been closed, but this year the museum was open and we had a look around. It's fascinating seeing how things were done. Really worth a quick visit.
This was a great showroom to visit, where there is much on display including glorious jewellery and handbags, alongside ancient artefacts! Cornish heritage is demonstrated by much of the jewellery and frames are also up, depicting the county very well. The mill is lovely to wonder around for seeing the machinery and some of it is still working in its glory, though I was disappointed in the workshop being inactive on my visit.
Good place to take the kids. Panning for gold is awesome a favourite and free. Restaurant has great food and drink options. Crazy golf is a bit dated but still great fun
Obviously expensive jewellery but nice to look at, went in September so not that busy and not much going on, had to wait 15 minutes for food which was good.
Some lovely jewellery pieces and currently have a 40% sale which makes some prices really affordable. Fantastic breakfast here, we had both full English and eggs benedict. The free activity of gold panning was enjoyed by all ages in our group. There is pottery painting and a kind of build a bear here aswell but we didn't visit those.
The restaurant was fabulous, the staff were so friendly and the food was great - such amazing options for vegans. We took part in the pottery painting which was also great, I would highly recommend. Now for the 3 stars... The staff member we delt with at the Jewelry counter were incredibly fat phobic. The way the lady addressed my mum when she asked about ring sizes broke my heart. My mum was so disheartened afterwards, it's not the end we had hoped for our holiday. I would love to see staff members here embracing customers of different body shapes and to better size inclusivity for the jewelry.
Visited during the off season, so very quiet and not much happening, but still well worth a visit. Definitely will return next time we're in the area. Food and drink in the Cornish pantry very good too, welcoming and dog friendly too!Food: 5/5
Feel awful making this review as the staff are well mannered and lovely. Went out for lunch with my partner and TWICE there’s been a 1 hour wait. The staff were slow and it’s just not good having customers wait that long when there are more than enough staff.
Cornwall Gold as they say " Jewellery from the heart of Cornwall " well worth the visit. They have good disabled access through out the site, including Tolgus Tin Mill established in 1865. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The Cornish Pantry serving traditional cream tea to a breakfast served on a miner's shovel is an experience. I just had coffee and cake. The jewellery is really worth seeing and it's not as expensive as you might think. One member of staff Mr Phil Bennetts is very knowledgeable about there product but his patience is outstanding. My wife capped flitting from one thing to another before she made her mind up.
Revolting coffee, you don't need more syrup than coffee in a latte, even the black coffee wasn't great. Cakes were dry. Service is very slow.Food: 1/5
