Excellent stay right on the Herriot Way. The best breakfast we had in the Dales. Clean and comfortable rooms and a great landlord. Cheers!
Absolutely loved this stay! Fantastic location! Immaculate and lovely home! Jason, the host, was over the top friendly and full of useful information.nnThe Yorkshire English breakfast was the best version we've ever had and beautifully presented. The alternative yogurt and fruit was equally satisfying with toast and marmalade.nnA short walk down the road revealed a delightful rock garden, full of little surprises. Further down the road the gorgeous green fields spread out dotted with sheep and lamps and lined with mossy rock walls. Like walking in a different era.
Just returned from a stay at this great bed and breakfast. Jason is a fab host. On our arrival asked if we would like him to book somewhere for us for our evening meal. Recommended different walks for us to try and even gave a copy of the Map. Breakfast was spot on and presented beautifully. We stayed in the twin room with a private bathroom and toilet. Dressing gowns were provided too. We shall definitely return. Thankyou.
Jayson was a very friendly and helpful host. He let us park our car right outside the B&B for the four-day duration of our walk. He also booked our dinner for our return at the end of the walk. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a great view of the village green, and we very much enjoyed chatting with Jayson during breakfast. It's obviously very well run, and they care about their guests. We were quite tired at the end of the walk, so the tea he made for us to take to our room was most welcome.nnIf we find ourselves in Aysgarth again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Cornlee.
We had a lovely stay, the host was very friendly, the room was immaculate, the breakfast was varied and when I didn't want a full breakfast the host went out of his way to make me something else. We had a private bathroom just across from our room with towels included. I would recommend Cornlee B&B
