I went in with severe headaches, loss of dexterity, nausea vomiting for over 3 weeks! Dr Mohammed was very professional fast and efficient took my worries and concern's seriously and didn't just try to fob me off with drugs to manage the symptoms as I have a very predominant maternal family history of brain tumours. It's nice to have a GP listen for a change and I would highly recoemmend this surgery to anyone looking for first class medical advice/treatment!

Went in last week to register myself and my fiancée at this GP. I had both our registration form with proof of address and ID. The receptionist checked my ID and mad a comment about not being able to see my hair as I had a hat on. I took it off so she can compare me against the picture which I dont have an issue with. Standard procedure. She said my Fiancée had to come in person so they can check her ID against her too. She went in by herself an hour later and they didnt even check her ID. They just took My fiancée form and that was it. Would like to know why we were processed differently by the receptionist apart from my fiancée being white/Caucasian and me Middle Eastern. Some reason I didnt look trustworthy enough and had to be compared against my ID picture and she didnt even need an ID or proof of address?
After weeks of anxiety I was referred to Paul the physio. Within minutes of our first meeting he had diagnosed reassured and set me on the path to recovery with some exercises. Not bad considering I was told I may have to have an operation . Thank you Paul for being patient and understanding and hopefully in next few weeks I will be feeling much better.
Never had a problem with Cornerstones Surgery. I’ve always found the staff knowledgeable and very helpful.
Lovely staff, who listened and tried to point us in the right direction to assist with any health concerns. Dr Khan has been invaluable to us as a family, whilst our Son has been poorly, needing necessary medications.All this during lockdown...Also the loss of our dear Mum we had to deal with. Thank you for your warm words of support DR Khan it made a difference when dealing with a traumatic family event.
Dr Perry is a very good GP and the nurses are extremely good with maintaining regular health checks / asthma clients etc. However I recently saw another doctor who wasn't very helpful at all , refused point blank to give me antibiotics or steroids for an obvious sinus infection, something I have suffered with for many years. No empathy or understanding of the discomfort I was in, I wont be seeing her again if I can help it!
Update March 2023.... this doctors is still beyond a joke 3 days trying to get a appointment for a baby. Apparently doctors are not working, thought they had enough time off during covid.....
Wonderful and very helpful staff at the surgery. My GP being Dr Ali Khan who goes above and beyond his professional patient care.
What a wonderful example of a Dr surgery I've been a patient for more than 30 years and for many years a patient of Dr E Perry last Tuesday I took ill in the surgery with a problem I had been experiencing over the last few months ,and was awaiting further investigations into. Having alerted the reception staff I was immediately taken into their office space and Dr Perry was informed of my condition I can not thank her enough for what happened next ,an ECG was hastily arranged at the surgery and Dr Perry was then able to contact a cardiologist about my condition and she recommended some medication this in its self was above and beyond what i expected, however she then contacted me later that same day to tell me she had further spoken with a cardiologist and some different medication was recommended .today one week after I was ill at the surgery Dr Perry rang me to see how I was feeling and offered me some further advice and support she has referred me to a cardiologist to answer all my questions and further treatment .At a time when the nhs is under pressure and Dr surgeries are hard pressed to cope with the demands on their time I am so grateful to Dr Perry she has shown what a true gp should be careing and committed to their patients care and wellbeing I want to thank her and recommend her to everybody
