After trying all the main pizza outlets around Westbury including the chains we found corner bar after it was recommended by a friend. In a passing comment saying we could get a 15inch for 9.99! Originally after trying the newly opened pizza shop and finding there organizational skills terrible, I thought I would take a walk up the street and give it a try. The service was instant and friendly and indeed the deal was true! We went for a 15 inch with bbq chicken sausage peppers and pineapple other half's choice and greeted with a freshly prepared and cooked pizza that far outshines the others. Easily the best pizza around. Soft base not too oily and delicious to the last slice! yummy!
Usually not that bad, but ordered fried chicken and chips tonight Monday and really felt like we were eating Saturday’s batch. Chips were hard and not that edible, the chicken was mainly drumsticks and the whole thing didn’t look or smell fresh, hardly any of the coating left on the chicken. We live round the corner so no excuses. Had the same order on Thursday night and it looked and tasted completely different. Very disappointing!!
I used to be a habitual customer of Corner Food Bar. Living just around the corner, with the good prices and decent service, I felt like this would be a fantastic place to call my takeaway place. However, one night the food came in awful. The fried chicken wasn't crispy but soggy, the chips were tasting nasty, and a lot more. When I complained, the answer given was that the lady herself preferred soggy, and it's because the chicken hadn't been dried. Now, I've had fried chicken since I was a little kid, and let me tell you, that wasn't normal. I paid around £20 for my order, and you're telling me that this fried chicken is fine? Only after raising it with the person, did they actually deep fry the chicken and apologise. The hot wings given were also all the small pieces, with bone only and no meat, which they did so they could fit my order 20 hot wings within the tiniest box and save money on a 1p cardboard box! It took 15 minutes for them to solve the issue, by which time the chips were cold. Ever since then, I've been hesitant to return.
Best takeaway for miles! Quick delivery and Amazing staff. Highly recommend all the food they make especially the pizzas. This is my go too takeaway. Went in just as they were about to close and the guy was more than happy to serve me. Great food, would definitely use them again
Absolutely fabulous food, every single time. Not a bad item on the menu. My personal favourite are the chicken strips and kebabs. The pizzas are also the best locally. The owner and staff are also suoer friendly and accommodating. No other kebab house comes close

Just popped into the corner food bar westbury, was at the door as they were closing but they went out of there way to sort me out and oh my days… what a meal, out of this world! Service and food out of this world! What more could you ask for, banging!
