Great place to stop for a drink and a bite before entering the castle. The sandwiches were great and the service was quick and friendlyFood: 5/5
Cosy establishment outside Corfe Castle. The cream tea was very reasonably priced at £6.55 and consisted of a choice of plain or fruit scone, a hot drink, ready made jam and cream. You have to order at the front desk and the tea took around 7 minutes to arrive. We also ordered a cheese scone which was delicious and I would highly recommend it to combat the sweetness of the jam and fruit scone. Hot and cold sandwiches are also available after 12pm as well as gluten free options. The tea room had a homely vibe with a wood burning fire perfect to quell a brisk winters day. Note that seating is limited so it’s best to arrive early to avoid waiting. Dress code: casual Cost: £ Service: very efficient Ambience: cosy
Nice place with a view on the castle. Suprisingly quite busy even on Monday, but we could still sit by one of the table outside. Dog friendly, they even have the special ice-cream for them. The ice coffee and ice-cream were average, however the atmosphere and nice staff made it better experience.Food: 4/5
Have always dropped in here when in Corfe. popular as ever, but not impressed with the size of the Victoria sponge, more like a tray bake cut into squares. However, my husbands sandwich was better value with potato salad garnish. We had a nice window seat., so had a nice view while waiting 30 minutes for our food.Food: 3/5
Gorgeous cream tea after a visit to Corfe Castle! Staff even brought a dog water bowl to the table for Maxipoos. Stunning view of the castle as you dine.Food: 5/5
I have been soo many times and loved dine in thesedine tea rooms but on our last 2 visits we were shocked at the really small size of the scones and cakes - at least half of the size if not third of the size they used to be - soo disappointing Parking: Need more for disabled people and more spaces too as the nearest car park is too far away for disabled people
We stopped after a visit to Corfe Castle and were delighted to find they did gluten-free scones! The menu seemed limited for any other gluten-free options, but I think they were dealing with staff shortages and a limited menu. The gardens are a gorgeous setting overlooking the castle!
Had a Devonshire tea for £7.60. the single scone was dry and cold. The only saving grace was the jam and cream. Food: 2/5
The best view for a cream tea/lunch. Good value food. Not accessible for disabled/older people. Toilets has a step up to it. There is only 1 for men, 1 for women which isn't really suitable for the size of the tea room - long queues. The best seats are outside and that is truly stunning but again there was a large step to it. I definetly would recommend going here purely for a remarkable view of the castle, and the sparrows!!
At £3.45 for the luxury hot chocolate it was delicious and very rich. Topped with cream and some surprise of marshmallows below. A nice treat whilst visiting the castle. Very friendly and professional service all round.
