Corby Train Station offers a convenient and efficient travel experience. The station is well-maintained with clean facilities, helpful staff, and clear signage. Trains run on schedule, making it easy to reach your destination. Overall, a reliable and pleasant railway hub.
For not having the food or drink facilities is making people more uncomfortable and specially in the mornings when not all people have the time to eat or having coffee , we expect to have at least a coffee and a snack's vending machine .nIs still annoying and frustrating so please do somethings in regards of this.nnCheers
Looks nice. That's about where the positives stop. The ticket office is only open part time. But the biggest issue by far: according to the Office of Rail and Road the station sees an average of 1100 passengers a day. The car park has.... 60 spaces around 10 of which are reserved for electric vehicles and staff. Which is absurd. And the nice big open space that would have comfortably taken an expansion of the car park has now been built on. So unless you are catching a train about 6 in the morning, you aren't getting parked. The situation is not exactly helped by the car park being cheaper than other nearby stations. If they bumped the prices up it might push more drivers to Kettering instead where you can ALWAYS get parked. As it is, don't use the station if you need to drive to get there, use Kettering instead.
Disgusting lack of parking. Fines given out to people parked outside the car park on a road without double yellow lines. No parking within miles of the train station if the car park is full.nCouncil prioritised building flats instead of adequate parking making the train station that Corby waited so long for useless!!nDon’t bother trying to use the car park if it’s after 8am. There are more drop off bays than needed, staff assigned bays that aren’t used, ticket machines always out of order. Drive to Kettering instead!!
The staff here are some of the kindest and really show you there are still good people in the world. Thank you to the kind lady that helped me out when my train was delayed, meaning I'd miss my connection. The station is clean, well managed and have excellent staff, thank you again.
