Lovely converted residence with a very friendly relaxed caring team. Always made welcome. Residents I talk to are always very happy and appreciative the care they receive. Beautiful gardens and grounds

I am looking for happy environment for both my grandfather and grandmother this place was suggested but it sounds like a awful place to let a loved one live, I think il give it a pass as I've also heard stories Sounds like it needs proper leadership. I'm out! Thanks for this opinion Ms Davies if I went through with it, I would hate to think how my grandparents would get treated.

My aunt has been at coppice lea for many years. I absolutely disagree with negative comments in previous reviews. My aunt is happy well looked after and loves the staff at the home as her own family. If we were not happy with the home we would absolutely move her but we could not imagine a better place for her to live. The manager neema is always visible and has helped us and my aunt a lot over the past couple of years. Yes there are lots of nurses and care staff from overseas but this adds to the diversity and ambience of the home. Activities have improved a lot lately and my aunt not always joins in ( her choice) but tells us what has been going on and loves when the kids come from local nursery and another managers dogs visit. Lovely. So yes I would recommend coppice lea with no doubts whatsoever. Disregard the negative reviews a great home.

My mother has been at Coppice for last six months and I would highly recommend this home to everyone for the elderly care.The home is beautiful with homely environment, professional and friendly staff team .

(Response to the Owner): The statisics I have written in this review are very much the truth. At the end of your reply regarding the five major factors as in Safe, secure, Caring, Well-led and responsive, the only true one is responsive and the rest are fallacies which the manager and possibly people higher up the ladder have fabricated to ensure the visitors that they're relatives are happy and viewers to make the best decision of choosing to allow they're loved ones live they're. I do not take my relative as being safe, cared for, secure and happy in that building as they look very unhappy which will be dealt with soon. Even as i am incredibly disgusted with the leadership at Coppice Lea I will overlook your condecending words for now in the hope that Relative's, Friend's and Vewier's put my words as a warning as it's more to the truth than Your truth. If the lies you keep fabricating to the people that enter Coppice lea carry on then I will personally take this higher than your head office. Thank you. After visiting a relative I have seen in the last 4 months a real decline in coppice lea with a new inexperienced manager in place who along with mantainence staff and administration staff where absent all over the Christmas period. Due to the managers inexperience and lack of people skills staff have been leaving in they're drones. No activities have taken place in this time, an inexperience carer was forced unwilling to take in this role along side her caring role. It's a known fact that residents meals are budgeted at £1.60 a day well infact these people pay over £1000 a week. If it wasn't for upheavel of my elderly relative I would certainly remove them from coppice lea and not recommend this care home to anybody. There is a genuine lack of care where care staff are involved to the point where the residents are sitting in there own soil and left in they're rooms without communication. These vunerable people some on end of life care deserve to be fully looked after and made to feel they have a purpose, care staff are often seen ignoring residents. I have observed the dull and lifeless of this place and not one member of staff have passion for these residents. Lastley 95% of the house hold have dementia and the grounds or not secure which is worrying due the road at the end of the drive. In the past 4 months no trips have taken place and therefore the residents cannot interact with the local communities.
