This is a lovely space to enjoy a meal with family or friends. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and tidy with beautiful decor. The staff are professional & friendly. The food is superb and very reasonably priced. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Copper Top for a good time.Food: 5/5
Great food, great portions, great price. Staff are always friendly and nice and have always managed to get a table for two whenever we go. Lots of great options on the menu, great pub food and the burgers are amazing. Well worth a visit. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available on the menu. Parking: Parking out the front of the building. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and toilets completely flat so would be wheelchair accessible.
Booked a table 13/12/21 at one pm. As u can see my starter looked brilliant & the salmon tasted lovely but the crisp bread was a bit too hard as I had to saw my way through it with my knife & left a wee bit that would require a hammer & chisle to brake through it, but that said it tasted lovely. My main turkey Christmas meal was near spot on. The gravy was nice & thick & the 3 slice of turkey was just the right thickness & very tender. The rest of the items on my plate were very good even though the roast TATTIES could have been roasted a bit more & at least the main course wasn't served up on a cold plate [which is a no! no!] NEXT the Christmas pudding it was good to read on the menu that they didn't take Christ out & put down Xmas pudding anyway it was very nice & what struck me the most was the lovely soft, moist berries on top of the pudding & the right thickness of cream to go with it. It was also good to get a cold can of quality ginger beer. Pity the waitress didn't ask me if I wanted ice in my glass, in most eating establishments they ASSUME that u do, but it tends to water down ones drink. It was no problem for her to empty the ice out for me. The tables r well apart & the place is very clean. The meal is not massive, but enough for an o.a.p. It was a bit expensive but that's ok because u get a lovely meal & all the staff I met were very nice, pity they don't have name tabs on. but who knows, that might all change. Pay then a visit & u won't be disappointed.
Food was fantastic but be careful with your burger orders, they are massive. An big unexpected treat is the chips are basically chippy chips from a restaurant, take that as you will.
Always brilliant. Great wee place for a meal; plateful, piping hot, tasty. I've never had a bad meal here. I wouldn't see past CopperTop. I've been to a couple other places locally, for 'a change', and have left feeling like I shouldn't have. Excellent meal today, bursting full after a great steak pie.
Excellent. I hadnt been for over a year and they have obviously done a great refurbishment. The place looked bright and clean. Food was great too with a nice variety of British favourites. Portions are very generous but you can have a 'smaller appetites' meal if you prefer. The sticky toffee pudding was the best I'd tasted anywhere and my husband said the same about the macaroni cheese!
Always come here with my Mum and brother. We always enjoy our time here. Great variety of food and prices are decent. Portions are great size and the food is always great! Staff are always warm and welcoming. Great for families too!

Have been to the Copper Top a couple of times now, and the standard of the food have always been great and very tasty, it's a lovely restaurant with very friendly staff and the food is superb. Personally a think this restaurant many times get overlooked so don't miss out on this wee gem.
