Really upset to be told to take away my costa cup as it was insulting. Well now I am insulted. Really awful customer service. I was hoping to enjoy a nice breakfast with a coffee I had bought previously. Next time I will take my business elsewhere.

When we're in Darlington town center we regularly take a stop to Coopers for a bite to eat because the service is quick, the food is always cooked well and the prices are reasonable. Service is always with a smile and we like to support small local business where we can.

great tearooms, beautiful food and friendly service all round. great to stop for a drink or something to eat. food is always fresh and cooked beautifully. can get busy during lunch and afternoons but has additional seating downstairs. the owners are also very friendly.

Fast service and option for warm milk with a complimentary lotus biscuit on the side. Strong and not bitter. Rich and subtle earthiness which is neither cheap, nor overpowering. Lovely, welcoming setting in which to pause and appreciate the great taste and service of the establishment. Up there with the best coffee in Darlington.
