Story

COOP Chicken House is located just a minutes walk from Newcastle's Central Station on Collingwood Street, dead opposite Revolution Vodka Bar and across the way from some of the town's most popular bars and clubs.

We're all about simple food done well with a laid-back & non-fussy approach. Think tables full to bursting with wood-fired chicken, charred corn, sweet potato fries and homemade slaw washed down with a pint or two of the local brew.

Whether you are looking to hire the whole venue (capacity 50), a large family booking, a table for two or a lone-wolf business type you'll be met with a warm welcome and some of the finest chicken around at COOP Chicken House.

Been a big fan of this place for quite a while now. I can only say the wings are perfect. Glad they still do collection during the lockdown but I hope they provided hand sanitisers for customers. Pictured is the Buffalo Wings Box with 6 wings and fries. Yum. The box was effectively wrapped in tinfoil so the wings were pipping hot.
Best chicken wings I've had in years, the wings were meatier than I've experienced in other places serving wings. Plenty of sauces to choose from, serving them in shot glasses works really well. Service was excellent. Great value too. I'll be back!

Chicken Wings of excellence, so tasty and perhaps the nicest ones in town! So good I had the buffalo wings too! The sauces are very much appreciated and the sweet potato fries a great accompanist, great polite and friendly service, nice environment - lots of parking outside at certain times of the day too. great
