We spent 2 nights and just returned to London and we really enjoyed staying at Cookshayes!! The breakfast was just right amount and so tasty and fresh croissant, pain au chocolat are all warm and delicious!! Room was very combatable with shower and big bath tab in the bathroom and decor throughout the room was very chic and welcoming as well. All walking distance to good local restaurants and pubs. Jacky, the host and owner of this guest house was very kind and friendly. Thank you so much for your great hospitalise and we would love to come back again!! Mitsue
Perfect hosts, perfect property! Jackie is an extremely attentive host and the attention to detail is superb. The service offered is what you'd expect at a hotel that costs triple what this B&B charges. This place really is a hidden gem in Dartmoor!Rooms: 5/5
Jacqui and Robin were lovely, attentive hosts, and wow, what a lovely place they have. Beautiful, clean rooms very tastefully decorated and we had use of the lovely garden also. All in all a highly recommended stay!
A beautiful place to stay, very clean and comfortable and our room was beautifully decorated as was the rest of the house the bed was very comfortable, our room had a view over the garden and distant hills, Jackie and Robin our hosts were very friendly and made you feel very much at home, great cooked breakfast, would highly recommend
