Small but perfectly formed, Cookfella's is a lovely restaurant with a great ambience. The staff were fantastic. I was part of a large group, there for a Christmas party. In my previous experiences this means that we are catered for as a drunk crowd with sub-par food, definitely not the case here. Out of 28 guests, not one dish needed to be returned, I didn't hear anyone complain. Our 3 courses were divine, steaks were cooked perfectly to order and I had the juiciest turkey I've ever had. So much flavour. I will be telling everyone to visit and returning myself.

Went here with my wife for her birthday it was our first time but will not be our last. The food was first class and the staff could not do enough for you so helpful and attentive.

This place stinks. The smell from the open plan kitchen is nauseating. Terrible vegan options.

We are frequent visitors and bring all our out of town friends here. The food and welcome is first class and we have always had a great time. Only one gripe...no real ale. Thanks to Helen and all the team.
