One of the best town wall walk we have done. The signs around town show you where the entrances are, behind the train station, far end of town etc. The views of town, castle and county side are fabulous especially as the walk is free.
If visiting the castle take a walk along the town walls with amazing views.
The medieval town walls of Conwy were built as part of King Edward I's defensive network following his conquest of Wales in the 13th century. Constructed between 1283 and 1287 alongside Conwy Castle, the walls were designed by James of Saint George. The walls are considered one of the finest and most well-preserved examples of medieval English town defenses.
Conwy is a lovely town with the Castle and the walls.nYou can walk the walks with ease and also part of the bridge can be accessed for free.nPlenty of little cafes to have a bite to eat and drink… and several fish and chips to boot.nA must visit for all visitors!
Awesome town walls, on par with York walls a little shorter maybenGreat views from all around, lots of hidden ways up and down, the main one for the main part is near the world's smallest house near the harbour.nnQuite steep in parts, but we'll worth the walk! Would definitely recommend!
