First ever visit. Outstanding venue. Great facilities. Soft touch stewarding. Great view from seats in balcony - particularly rows A to E on level 2. The acoustics were pretty good too. Prices for food and drink are typical with this type of venue. Plenty of pubs locally. Railway station is 10 minute walk.
Good venue and great for local events. However, it needs to add screens if you're higher up in stalls. You can actually see the artists performance as you still pay alot but can't see them very well also it needs to sort access at front out so have access for security at both sides so not walking all the way round to just 1 entrance and check area
Went to see the pretenders tonight they were amazing but most of our evening was spoiled by the same people back and forth to the bar there should be a curfew for running to the bar it's not fair to others the poor support act didn't stand a chance as we were trying to watch them same problem people off to the bar something needs to be done about this
My friend and I went to see Jane Macdonald. I must say it was a brilliant night and enjoyed by everyone. The atmosphere was excellent and a good time was had by all. Well done Jane Macdonald.
Pictures do not do this place justice; especially the view from outside. The auditorium is massive. I reckon it sits a few thousand. The seats are great, not quite cushy but functional. They fold up, which makes it easy to move around and in between the rows.nnThe auditorium/seating area is on 3 levels; accessible via the lift and staircase. The toilets are cleaned, and the premises overall are well maintained. There is parking on site and around.nnThe University of Hull booked the auditorium for its 2022/2023 graduation ceremony, and we were glad they did. Excellent event management and security arrangement.
