Me and my wife came here during the music festival they have in Congleton. We watched Teachers Pet perform which were really good. The town hall has a bar and a decent size open space and was clean and tidy inside. It reminds me of the old town halls I used to go when I was a kid. Drinks were reasonably priced and not so expensive.
Attended singfest by music 4 life here. Lovely venue for it.
Congleton Town Hall is very beautiful building.nnCongleton is a market town with a population of around 26,900 located in south east Cheshire. The town is about half way between Manchester and Stoke and is part of the beautiful Cheshire Peak District. Congleton is well known for its festivals, flowers, ribbons, beers and bears! It has over 150 local organisations and groups, a bustling shopping centre, its own theatre, fantastic park and paddling pool. The town was due to represented the North West in the 2020 National Finals of Congleton in Bloom, this has been postponed, but there are still many beautiful floral displays to admire.
Interesting old building in the town centre.nFriendly staff in the information centre within the front of the building. Grand Hall and other meetings rooms available for hire. See the old gaol through the glass floor in the upstairs hall.
You can get printing done at the museum round the back. Very friendly staff
