Lovely food. Great portions. Welcoming staff. Definitely worth a visit.
The rooms looked nice. However, if you have no wish to sleep all night.Then this is the place for you !. However I will never set foot in the place again. The rooms are within 20feet of a major road, and all you hear all night is traffic thundering past. Also, we picked this place so we didn't need to travel anywhere else to get an evening meal. Had we known the kitchen was closed, we would not have booked the place !
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff ,good prices
Nice pup with friendly staff and atmosphere. The only down side I would say is the new extension at the rear which is too close to existing neighbours at the rear of the pub.
The car park is a bit small and always busy, the food was a reasonable price, the meat we had was the Turkey and it was dry even at 13:00hrs and it only opened at 12:00, it's a carvery so its help yourself to veg which is plenty from mash, parsnips and cabbage. They put on your meat, stuffing, roasties, cauliflower cheese and yorkshire puds to be honest the puds were soggy and not crispy at all. A bit of a let down but the chef was extremely busy. I had a bitter shandy and it was awful just awful the lemonade must have been flat or non existent as it was just bitter but it was awful which is down to the cellar work.
Very clean and very well kept throughout the place, cant fault at all, worth the visit,
Clean, interesting decor, rooms nice and tidy. Currently not doing food as appears to be between tenants.
When we arrived, they had stopped serving food but still cooked meals for us, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive, will certainly visit again
Great place to visit ,only just been refurbished and almost completed. Good place to go with your friends.
Great steak night and a lovely bottle of wine. Staff friendly and jolly. Perfect place to eat on a Wednesday night.
