Hugely impressed by this place. A small trail centre but one of the very best I've been to. Really natural feel, especially up at the top, with some really fun and challenging features. The campsite and cafe are fantastic too with a really friendly vibe.
Comrie Croft it's a beautiful place to go for little walk, camping or glamping or just to have little coffee and cake in the outdoor coffee shop which is delicious!! Tasty coffee and home made cakes. Kids a d dogs friendly especially now when they started forest school which is amazing and also the main reason why we are coming over. Definitely check it out its an amazing place!
This is a truly amazing place. The food is great, the surroundings very relaxing and it has something for everyone- perfect place for walkers, mountain bike lovers and those who just want to chill out in the nature.
An amazing bike shop, with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will and Chris take care of you. Only place in the area that rents road bikes! Check out the Crofters!Service: 5/5
Nice location.I had to drive up a very stoney path with large potholes to reach my pitch site. Nearly bottomed the car. You are then expected to transfer equipment using a wheelbarrow and then park in the car park at the bottom of the track. I was seriously concerned for the welfare of my car. I would not recommend this place if you are camping alone simply because of the arduousness of using the wheelbarrow which involves several trips pushing uphill. Otherwise the shop is well stocked with food and equipment and the pitch sites are spacious, ideal for families with children.
We came for a wedding and stayed in one of the Katas. The kata was absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped. The battery for our lights weren't working when we arrived late in the evening, so we called the on-call number and a member of staff arrive incredibly quickly and sorted it out for us. He was incredibly polite and friendly. The wedding venue itself was absolutely stunning with amazing views, and the facilities on site are great! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and for making our friends' wedding absolutely perfect!
Hit up Comrie Croft for a few hours of MTB trails on the Scottish-built Deviate Highlander. After the first lap, we had lunch, followed by more riding before afternoon tea. Great place, fun trails and a friendly staff made for an enjoyable trip. Their toasties were excellent alongside the curried Cali-yam salad. Tea time we sampled a few different items. The Very Ginger Cake was stellar! The bike shop staff was knowledgeable and eager to help out with a dropper post problem we were having. Would definitely go back.
Great bike trails, blue is great for younger riders or those looking for fun flow and berms. Reds and blacks are spot on, with easy grind back up the fireroad. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch in the new covered terrace - great choice of quiches, panini and cakes. We left as the evening entertainment began, live music and pizzas looked interesting. Very family friendly.
Fantastic place to go for a days riding with trails for all skill levels. The folks in the bike shop are really helpful and knowledgeable. Only £1 to use the bike wash located at the shop with done cleaning products available to use. My second time here and will definitely be back.
The guys at Comrie Croft bikes helped me out no end with my bike build. Very friendly and helpful advice. Good food at the cafe as well. Haven't ridden the trails there yet, but its on my to do list and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for all the help and advice Colin.
