I love it here. It feels like a hidden gem but its always busy and once you eat some of their cakes and bakes, you'll understand why!nI tried some of their festive cakes and they have to be the nicest thing I've eaten this festive season!nThis Chocolate Swiss Roll with chocolate ganache and orange cream has to be the most beautiful light and delicate thing I’ve eaten over this festive period.nWe managed to grab the last slice which I was equal parts delighted about but also gutted about, as it meant I couldn't get another slice.nThe Carrot Muffin with orange marmalade was incredible too and the Ham sammie was packed to the brim.nNot pictured are the lovely lattes nA gorgeous spot for a coffee date, plenty of free parking and they are dog friendly
Our first visit and I enjoyed a delicious cinnamon bun and a lattè. The other members of the party had an almond croissant and a pan au chocolate, with cappuccinos. The coffees were very good too.nAll but one of the tables were taken and, at one stage, the queue for takeaways was out the door.nThe staff we encountered were very helpful and pleasant.nWe will definitely return the next time that we are visiting the area.

The moment you walk in, you get a sense of the quality and care that goes into everything.nnThis isn't your average bakery—they prepare everything in-house, from their sweet pastries to their savory breads. The quality is top-notch, and you can really taste the difference. I also have to say, the coffee is absolutely beautiful, a perfect complement to their fresh-baked goods.nnIf you find yourself in this part of Edinburgh and are looking for a nice place to grab a coffee and a treat, I highly recommend Company Bakery. It’s a wonderful place to stop and enjoy something truly delicious.
Fab bakery with great coffee. Love that you can see the behind the scenes of the bakery. It's a casual vibe with large shared tables. Very dog friendly. Perfect after River Esk walk.
We've been in for takeaway coffee and snacks a few times. A really nice idea and the open plan to the Bakery is great, especially with kids. Really nice cakes and good coffees. The shop element is great too, not yet bought any items though. Having seating both inside and outside is perfect, for when the weather is good. Easily reached on bike from Portobello and walkable from most of Musselburgh.
