I attended on the 1.2 23 with my autistic daughter for a gymnastics shoulder injury late at night. The nurse we saw was very kind, and compassionate and person centred. On the booking form theory was no space to share about disability or reasonable adjustments needed, so I had to write this over another box. This was important for us as my daughter us autistic and has a medical phobia and does not like to be touched. The nurse had clearly read this and was so calm and explained her movements and reassured Connie throughout.
Amazing! Every member of staff I met/saw was very polite and very caring. You could see how very busy they were but yet they remained professional and did a great job. Thank you!!
I went to the minor injuries unit thinking I was being a hypochondriac. But they were so lovely and reassured me that it was a good idea to come in. They patched me up and I couldn’t be happier. Waiting time wasn’t too terrible at all.
I've been here a couple of times recently, once for me and once for my wife. The staff are friendly and professional. I am happy that it's there, as saves waiting several hours at the JR. It's a shame follow up appointments are at the JR trauma though. I wish Didcot and indeed all large towns should have a minor injuries unit. Well done abingdon. Thank you so much.
Invaluable service. Friendly approachable, vital for the local community particularly since Wallingford minor injuries etc closed. Staff are A1, reassuring, kind used multiple times
Made an appointment through 111 and we were seen early. The nurse, he was great, reassured my son and gave helpful advice. Thank you.
Referred late Monday via 111 to the OOH service. Seen by the doctor within 10 mins of arrival despite being in the middle of the junior doctors strike. Could not have been better. Thank you.
Had the unfortunate experience of having to be taken to the community hospital on Sunday Thank you to Emma Florence and Doctor Tanner for looking after me so wonderfully here so much negativity about the NHS but these lovely people show we have wonderfully caring and professional staff Thank you again Regards Richard Charles
In and out within 25 min! Receptionist 10/10, really lovely Radiographers 10/10 helpful, knowledgeable and also really lovely!
Superb care today, for my 2yo son. Huge thanks to Phil ASP and Alex radiography. Quick, efficient, brilliant communication, clear care planning, and met our individual needs. NHS at its best.
