I start with three stars and increase, decrease according to experience. Premises. 5/5. Well laid out. Strangely quiet and relaxed. I was not aware of this particular day hospital until my treatment today in maxo facial. Staff. 3/5. It would have been five but two nurses decided to leave me biting a metal bar in the xray machine while discussing the pros and cons of the xray computer. Disrespectful. Refreshments. 1/5. Bog standard vending machines. Doctors. 5/5. Only saw one. Ten minutes late but was friendly, informative and interested. All in all, a pleasant visit. Tok many frantic A&E’s behind me, this was refreshingly better.
Went to minor injures this morning with what I thought was a broken finger, luckily it wasn’t. But just wanted to say that the care from start to finish was amazing! Tracey and Sandy are the two ladies that dealt with me and their care and attention was incredible. Thank you both so much, you made the whole experience a lot better!
This is an amazing hospital, so clean and welcoming. The staff are lovely. I would prefer to go here than anywhere else.
Had to visit Uckfield Minor Injuries Unit today, after being involved in a RTA. Both the receptionist and the nurse I dealt were so lovely, caring & sympathetic to my situation. Much better than my local GP surgery who just said ‘go to A&E’. I wish I had remembered to take their names, so I could thank them personally.
Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of our son in the minor injuries unit. We were on our holiday from Germany and our son hurt his hand with a huge splinter. Very friendly lovely nurses - can't thank you enough!
Can't thank or praise the staff enough, I afraid though I would like to single out one member of staff and that is Julie. Her compassion and tenderness to my issue was so heartwarming.and believe me. in the place I was in it was such a welcome relief . I went home feeling nurtured and calmed and patched up.. BIG THANK YOU JULIE you are a walking talking angel, bless you.Apologies for any embarrassment caused but I believe in credit where credit is due.
My daughter feel yesterday Sundaywhilst roller blading so I took her straight up to Uckfield Hospital as her wrist was painful. We were seen by a really friendly nurse called Sandy within minutes and she referred her for an xray. This was done also really quickly and before we knew it, we were back with the nurses in the Minor Injuries Unit. My daughter was diagnosed with a double fracture and her wrist was put in cast by another really lovely nurse. We were in and out, on a Sunday afternoon, within 1 hour. The nurses and radiology staff were super friendly and kind to us both and we had the best treatment we could have imagined. Thank you so much to you all... you're all wonderful!
Visited Uckfield minor injuries unit on Saturday with my mother who had fallen in the ice, all the staff were professional and friendly we were seen in good time and dealt with sympathetically.
I visited the small injury unit today. I was blown away by the lovely service, so friendly and helpful. I was seen, xrayed and fitted with a boot in a ridiculously fast time. Thank you so much to the staff on duty today
The nurses are always beautiful people and staff are as always amazing. The site itself is very clean. I’m so proud to be a 20 year resident of Uckfield, it’s hospital and the built in Bird-in-Eye surgery. Thanks for taking care of my big toe that got smacked by my car door this extremely windy few days! #stormeunice #stormdudley
