The worst bank EVER! Archaic website has never been updated from probably 1988. They charge for using the toll free number. Luckily they have a near monopoly for the poor service members on the bases or this bank would not exist. Unable to pay extra on loans via the internet and can only make extra payments in the branch office. 1 star is about 10 stars too many.
DO NOT BANK HERE. If you're new to DoD or even just RAFM, avoid at all costs. Not prepared to assist newcomers with establishing account. Using arbitrary rules that are in defiance of DoD standards on ID and base access. Also, they photograph CACs which is a big red flag. Base command staff should take a long hard look at why they have this contract and why they're recommended to newcomers during in-brief.
Do your business elsewhere. Lack of transparency, fees, and policies that make it tough to have a good handle on your money. Also, credit cards linked to a pounds account are not available which can make doing business in the UK slightly more difficult. These issues become significant annoyances the more time you spend on the road for work.
Hours are terrible , exchange rates are too. The online banking is also in some way down most the times
If I could give them less than one star I would .
