I have just rang up Because I have not hard of my Partner and what I got of of the lady was it not Emergency well sorry you got a Dueto of care of my partner any thing could of happened
Absolutely shocking company to work for! Extreme poor management and constantly hound you to do extra calls and not great when you've got day's off and they still call you. No surprise families of a loved one complain about poor care and timings of calls. All office staff too concerned about calls being covered so they don't have to do it themselves. Only good thing about it was working with some great carer's that absolutely love what they do apart from we were all constantly were fed up of the company. I'd never use this company just because of the office staff if any of my family needed care as they couldn't arrange a hoy up in a brewery without it going wrong
The idea was to help my wife with my care as she has her own problems. It all started so well within the time slot but now they can turn up anytime within two hours worse at the weekend. We have been told it is due to sickness and staffing problems. No one ever rings to tell us they are running late and there is no apologies. Sometimes we have to manage but it is not fair for a person in their last days remaining uncomfortable for long periods. On one occasion we had to leave before they came for a hospital procedure simply because they forgot. Another aspect is the number of different carers we have seen over the period each some very good and some not so much. It is no good informing the office of your grievences, as their documentation indicates, as they are just not interested and to be honest not at all concerned.
Carers have no travel time allocated between each call, which means they're late to almost every call, office staff are ridiculous, worse than the carers. They fail to notify carers if someone has passed away but yet keep putting that call on to their rota! What an embarrassment, they fail to notify carers when a service user has cancelled a call and carers turn up then rings up the office to then find out. Everyone in that office need training on how to communicate with the carers! Office staff are constantly bombarding carers with calls not taking into consideration carers day off, the list goes on, avoid this place at all costs, your better off looking after your own yourself, office staff are never pulled in to get investigated yet it's always the carer that pays the price, some of the carers need further training, most definitely the office staff.
Absolutely dreadful! I am a younger adult with severe physical disabilities. When the regular carers from my housing scheme are on duty it’s ok. However the office keep sending young kids, when they need more experienced carers on the local area. They talk to me as if I have learning difficulties. I have just complained about the hygiene of one girl... she absolutely stunk! They cannot maintain their own hygiene, so how can they keep me clean? Haven’t approached the office. No point. Nothing ever gets done
The care staff are great however this company operates a system which allocates its staff no time to travel between patients. No-one is capable of getting from one patent location to another without travel time. This can only have a negative impact on both their care staff and clients. Care staff in terms of their moral as they are faced with an impossible challenge and service users in terms of they won’t be getting the allocated time they should have with the care staff they are allocated. Those staff will be under pressure to minimise their time spent with you. Until this service provider makes some serious changes to the way they operate I would not recommend anyone employs their services.
Been told a relative has not been receiving pay slips despite numerous requests. Thought a pay slip was a legal requiremen! Despite being a non car driver, she is getting sent to clients miles apart. Change rotas with little notification. No consideration for the carer's they employ
Carers came at any time they liked. No experience of helping people who are sight impaired and with dementia. They nearly always left a mess for me to clear up. They take anybody off the street, regardless of ability, people who can't look after themselves, never mind anyone else. Was told that mum was in "non compliance" by a "man"? in their office, Never again.
I was a client in this company and a lot of the carers I refused because they were cheeky and the staff came at whatever time they wanted. 1 day because of it I didn't have my medication and when I shouted at the office because of them messing they said there was nothing they could do when clearly there is it's in my care plan to come at a time so they should stick to it but they refuse. I'm glad when I came out of there. To start with most carers were nice in the end the carers and managementvwere the worst people. I'd go as far as to say I'd rather die than go with these again. They let me burn myself once too.
To all the wonderful carers who looked after my mam and made her comfortable before she passed away, I would like to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You made her remaining time at home that so much better. I can't thank you enough
