Firstly this van is parked between 2 walkways with wheels on the pavement obscuring the view to get across the road to the other walkway. When I said that’s a stupid place to park the driver opened his windows and told me that he had to park there to get to the box and instead of complaining I should walk round which I had!. Very bad attitude! So I went back to photograph the abysmal parking and he got out of his his van and said that he’d said sorry. Which was a lie as he was extremely confrontational. I told him I was reporting him and he did by give a stuff. It seems from the reviews that there’s no point in complaint to the company as they don’t respond.
The company is a joke to be honest I thought it was a good place to work when I initially started as the people were genuine or should I say they sent genuine, but I actually got sack eight weeks into my job because I had a faulty Lightfoot system which wasn’t working for the first 2 1/2 to 3 weeks which is a tracking system basically and they said I was doing all kinds of things in the van and just so we know I wasn’t doing anything in the vans. The only thing I was doing was when I was driving home 2 1/2 to 3 hours away I was stopping in Tesco’s and places like that to go to the toilet and maybe get a drink, But they said because I was coming home from work it was classed as being personal use of the van which I really do not understand. I documented everything from day one about the van not working so on so forth, But it fell on deaf ears. I wouldn’t bother working for this company as they are more interested in the vans than what they are in the job that you do as an individual and a professional engineer. Also I forgot to mention in the time I was there I had two vans given to me for use and both times they try to blame me for damage on the vans. I’m just glad I did my own inspection of the vans and took my own photos because if I didn’t, they would’ve charged me money so if you work for this company, please make sure when they give you a van, you have a complete and proper handover takeover of all the equipment that you have otherwise trust me they will hold you reliable. Kind regards Clint Martin
I KNOW YOU MIGHT THINK YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT BUT THE FOLLOWING RULES ARE APPLY TO YOU TOO. AND LIKE IT OR NOT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES AND THEIR ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE PUBLIC. Rule 238 You MUST NOT wait or park on yellow lines during the times of operation shown on nearby time plates or zone entry signs if in a Controlled Parking Zone – see ‘Traffic signs’ and ‘Road markings’. Double yellow lines indicate a prohibition of waiting at any time even if there are no upright signs. You MUST NOT wait or park, or stop to set down and pick up passengers, on school entrance markings see ‘Road markings’ when upright signs indicate a prohibition of stopping. Rule 243 DO NOT stop or park: near a school entrance anywhere you would prevent access for Emergency Services at or near a bus or tram stop or taxi rank on the approach to a level crossing/tramway crossing opposite or within 10 metres 32 feet of a junction, except in an authorised parking space near the brow of a hill or hump bridge opposite a traffic island or if this would cause an obstruction another parked vehicle where you would force other traffic to enter a tram lane where the kerb has been lowered to help wheelchair users and powered mobility vehicles in front of an entrance to a property on a bend where you would obstruct cyclists’ use of cycle facilities except when forced to do so by stationary traffic.
So Comex 2000 came to do some work on my street in Salford, and I had my car parked outside and no one was able to ask whose the car it was. With they ask my neighbour she tell straight away the car is my and I they could knock on my door to remove the car. But NO THEY PERFER WORK DAMAGED THE CAR THAN KNOCK MY DOOR. They will start working without covering the car. A few days before they were here on the street, why didn't they tell us they were coming to do this type of work or ask or put a notice the date they are coming to work and for people not to park there. It's better to damaged other people's cars.
This is by far the worse company I have dealt with. I have been waiting for an engineer for over 2 weeks. Every time i call for an update I am told someone will call me back not one single call from them. I am calling every day to chase. The company who answer the calls are virtual and can’t provide any details of the escalation, complaints or their managers. How ridiculous is this. This company are working with virgin media to who also are difficult to get hold of or a response from. The overseas agents answer the call and then disconnect it . I am in limbo from a terrible service from Comex 2000 and virgin media.
1am currenrly and we have a generator running directly outside our house and no way to contact the company - not acceptable
Dangerous drivers, driving straight infront of laughs laughing. Then straight through red lights.
So Comex 2000 they decided to move a telecommunications box from the frontage off my next door neighbour and but it encroaching over my side. The people didn’t understand my wife and gave me a number. This person then decided to completely ignore me. They also set up a shoddy fence on a main road with no temporary traffic lights .
It's midnight and a fleet of 5 large vans with flashing lights parked up outside our homes... And even though we have roller blinds closed the lights are so bright they are just flashing around the bedroom.. Woke me up and now making it impossible to sleep!! Not to mention the dogs are now Barking!!! Absolutely ridiculous and inconsiderate!!!!!!! How long is this going on for?????? No one appears to be in the vans even. ! This really needs to be addressed.. Work at respectable times or park up where you're not disturbing residents pls. middleport Stoke on trent st6 area
I echo most of the reviews on here. Come back in from work this morning to find half an hour later I was being blocked in my driveway. No warning. Nothing. I have been told however that the door was knocked… helpful if you don’t hear it and you choose to proceed anyway. I now can’t access my driveway in or out although I was told if I asked I could be. Massively inconvenient when you’re in and out of the house all day due to work and schools runs. Not sure how they’d know when I was returning home to magically open the barrier???? Both my partner and I when he returns from work will now have to find somewhere to park on a side road which voids our insurances. Common courtesy has gone out of the window. Loads of noise going on too without warning. Just poor human interaction and respect. Doesn’t cost a lot and you’d save yourselves from people becoming frustrated.
