Very impressed. The promenade walk is beautiful. The path is clean and feels new. It's also flat so perfect for a jog or to ride a bike. Parking is nearby. Great day out if in Colwyn bay
The beach is fantastic. Soft golden sand stretches for miles at the same level as the road and car parks so easy access.nOnly problem is there isn't much here. 1 cafe/ice cream hut I imagine gets very busy during the summer hols.nBut ideal beach to bring a picnic with the kids and spend the day. The sea is very calm towards the beach due to how far the beach goes out, so great for swimmers.
Lovely and clean compared to previous years. Happy that this is our local beach a short walk from home through the park. Absolutely made up that the council won with the dog ban. It makes a huge positive difference for our small children and has made us visit much more frequently as a result have since bumped this beach from a 2 rating to a 5.
A much improved area with plenty of parking, although the parking ticket machines were not working when we went .it's a lovely place to visit ,note you will need coins for the toilet's
Lovely beach. On the day we visited there was ample space to enjoy games without worrying about getting in other people’s hair.nnAs others have commented there isn’t much else around by the beach, so come prepared food wise if you don’t fancy walking into town.
