We are dedicated to fresh food prepared well in a sustainable way; not many cookery schools have their own walled garden & organic farm. We also like to source as many ingredients as possible from Colstoun Estate or from the surrounding area in East Lothian. Plus we are the only cookery school in Scotland to have all of our hot water and heating produced from a state-of-the-art green wood-chip heating network.
At Colstoun we believe you will learn more and have a lot more fun in our relaxed country cottage kitchen environment and our results prove it, we have 100% course satisfaction rates since our launch in late 2011. Our students receive more attention per teacher than any other School in the UK with a teacher student ratio of 1:5 and we welcome every level of cook from absolute beginner to experienced chef.
