I had a really nice stay here for a week and wish I could have stayed longer! The breakfast, service, and room were great, and the 24-hour coffee machine was a bonus. The receptionist, who seemed to be a man of mixed Indian heritage, was very kind! I really wanted to give him a tip, but after I checked in, I didn’t see him again until I checked out, which was disappointing. I hope he gets a raise! Although the room wasn’t very clean when I first entered and some of the facilities were outdated, overall, it was still a really nice stay.
Hosted an event for me which was spread over the day and night. The staff on over the weekend were all really friendly and helpful. From the facilities staff, reception, bar, food service, all the staff were great. The food was amazing! We had a hot grilled buffet lunch with cold sides and everyone at the event really enjoyed the food. Lots of vegan options which was well received. All made from scratch, very fresh and tasty. A few of the guests booked hotel rooms also which were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice with lots of variety. Location is ideal for walking to nice bars and restaurants on Queens Road and a short drive to the city centre. We will be back next year for our next summer party.
Great place to stay if you need to be in that area. We were there for a self publishing day so perfect just to walk down from your room Full English breakfast very nice. Rooms: Room we had was very small and dark . Had to have light on all day in the bed and bathroom area .But the rooms and buildings were spotless. Bar and main dining area 10 out of 10 would definitely stay again. Short walking distance to a very large pub/restaurant.
Really good all round. I drove so not sure about public transport getting there but it's definitely more leaning with access via country lanes but it's immediate location is near residential homes. No lifts but wheelchair access. Very clean, friendly, quiet and nice modern decor. No fridge but room has iron board, iron, tea and coffee etc facilities and TV. Hangers but not like ones at home. Very warm and bright room. Walkability: Depending on location from reception but a minute or so. All wheelchair accessible as rooms on ground floor so request at booking
A modern corporate venue that's well geared for conferencing, and perhaps less so for a holiday/hotel experience. We only needed a bed for the night to attend a friend's house party nearby, so the hotel was ideal for our needs. The area is in a lovely leafy residential part of Leicester and has ample parking. The buildings' exteriors look a bit tired and could do with some attention to the window frames and balcony fronts, but the room itself was spotless, if basic. The reception area is vast and polished and the staff are delightful. The 9.00am closure of the restaurant for breakfast was too early for us to get breakfast on the Sunday morning. It wouldn't be a problem if I was attending a weekday conference, but I was barely awake at that time so missed out on breakfast. Rooms: Basic, clean, great shower, reasonably comfortable bed, pillows not so, but the window didn't close properly because the wooden frames had warped. Safety: Very safe and secure, keypad entry everywhere, with a lovely night security guard in reception. Walkability: It's in a residential area, so about 15 mins walk to the nearest local shops.
Great conference centre, not far from M69 so good to travel by car. Onsite parking, and plenary and breakout rooms. Hot and cold lunch choices. Enjoyed the National Self-publishing conference thereService: 4/5
Excellent location , very clean rooms and great service. The breakfast is lovely, too.Rooms: 5/5
Bed was basic but room was spacious. Old university halls with powerful showers. Just what you need on a business tripRooms: 4/5
Lovely staff, but the toilets do not flush properly Rooms: Toilets do not flush properly
My wife and I were going to see a performance at the De Montfort Halls midweek. I decided on College court because of its location for walking to the performance and the fact that Queens Road en route is full of fabulous restaurants cafes and independent shops. The staff were very friendly, the room was modern and clean and the choice of breakfast in the morning was overwhelming, and of course there is free safe parking. For £107 you cannot go wrong -perfect.
