Brilliant place. Modern enough to be clean and efficient but still retains good quality and old fashioned charms. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Food is gorgeous.
Great traditional chippy with some great local extras like Mince and dumplings! If there was any negative at all there’s no soup on the menu! Everything else top notch
Traditional Fish n Chips done proper!! My order tasted amazing and not overly greasy. Batter was nice and golden not dark and stodgy like some places I've been. Staff were wonderful to chat to while I waited. Best of all the food was wrapped how it is supposed to be done. IN NEWSPAPER!. Best I've had in a long while. I will definitely be going back.

Lovely fish and chips served by friendly staff.
Just driving through. Came off motorway on way to Durham area and found this chip shop. 2 inside tables, nice warm plates to eat from as well and friendly locals. Really good fish and chips.
Have been a couple of times in the past few weeks and both times the fish and chips have been excellent. Well worth a visit.
