Company were tasked by EON to install solar panels at my address. System was clearly not tested before they departed. Electrician highlighted there could be an issue with the consumer unit/fuse box and indicated a fix that could be applied if it happened. The solar system trips the electric every time it activates. System can’t be used and is currently redundant. EON advice company is aware of issue and it awaits a call from a supervisor but it has now been nearly 2 weeks since this issue was raised and no word. It appears to be in the too difficult box. On the day of installation the solar panel installer appeared to be in a rush to leave and was sat in the van outside my address long before the electrician had finished his work. Less than impressed and will be speaking with EON reference getting this resolved. I have had to consult a local electrician who has identified a fix.Service: Installation
Went here to start my new job, after giving in my notice at Lowri Becks. The building is not much to look at. The guys doing the induction seemed to be a great bunch. However, the big shock came when I was handed the contract to sign. I was sent an email with some idea of what to expect from my new employer. Travelled to Wales by train to start my new job. But WOW! Nothing could prepare me for the 10-page document. Needless to say, I refused to sign the offensive and insulting document and made my way back home. 3 days I'll never get back, and I doubt I'll be getting any payment for them either. Now I'm between jobs and no income. My suggestion to anyone considering working for this company. Chuck good faith out the window and request to see the contract before you hand in your notice. Otherwise, you'll find yourself signing that contract, like a couple of other guys, because you need that income.
