Didnt visit the clock towernBut coleford itself would make a good base to explore the areanGood eateries/ pubs / takeaways
This town was very boring, with very little things to do whilst waiting for the bus back to Gloucester Transport Hub, but I did find a newsagents, however I had to wait to be served as the police were there investigating CCTV due to an incident.
At one time was a church but now just a town clock tower. Markets are held here sometimes and an annual music festival organised by Ollie Alexander's Mum
This is Coleford. That's it. We have a clock tower. It has always been there.nWannabe formula one drivers practice round it of a weekend with loud exhausts. Young people meet there with beverages for social interaction.nnIf you need a touchstone in the vastness that is Coleford.....it is the clocktower.
Very friendly little village , nice cafes and shops
