The pharmacy has always been great to me - the staff, especially the pharmacists themselves. However, this last two weeks haven't been the most pleasant. There's two members of staff in particular who haven't been the nicest towards me; very short, no pleasantries. Usually i go in and check if my prescription has been done, and almost everytime it's been done already. Great! Today I went in, as I'd seen online that it had been sent to them hours beforehand, and just queried if it was done... it was! Fab! Always great how quick and efficient they are! However I was treated by one of the assistants, who questioned me over and over again, when I'd ordered my prescription, as she held onto my medication. She continued in telling me that it's as 3 day system and that I needed to wait. I didn't understand, as it had been done? If it hadn't then of course I'd have to come back, which I know how busy they are. But it was in her hand, as she's interrogating me. It was sent by EPS, so I get they have a huge wave coming in, but it had been done? I left humiliated after being treated this way in front of other customers, questioned like this while she held onto my medication. I'm in my 20s, had 3 leg surgeries, a car accident of late, and I'm on regular medication... I already lead a rather sad, painful life, which in my opinion,I shouldn't have to deal with so young... yet I'm treated this way, by members of staff who I've been coming to for 2 years now. I don't understand why they have behaved this way, especially towards people with poor health. To be honest, if she wanted to make the point of waiting the 3 days, by not filling the prescription (which like I say, I didn't know of, as my prescriptions have always been done on the same day!), rather than saying this, while she's holding it. Very upset. I don't need this. The pharmacists themselves are wonderful, and the younger assistants are lovely! So thank you to those who have helped care for me over the years, but I won't be going back... which is a shame, because it's very close to me, meaning it's easier for me getting there.
