One of the best places we visited on the isle of wight, the staff were lovely and the kids loved looking at all the different things on the walls. The food was beautiful and very well priced. What a lovely little family business. We'll definitely be back again when we're next on the island!
Lovely breakfast in here this morning the sausages and beans are very yummy and staff are lovely. Coffee is OK and is only a £1 a cup. Reasonably priced breakfast as well. Giving 5 stars because it's a small local independent business and you can only be negative about the following if you were being really picky: - The shelves with all the old items on need a good clean/dust and organising. - breakfast took about 50 mins to come - my egg was completely raw on top, the white was running out all over my plate - the bacon was really salty and I couldn't eat it - the hash browns are horrible
Lovely little cozy cafe on the hill. The all day breakfast is to die for, the best part being the bubble and squeak. Everything is locally sourced and it's a family business as well. Very reasonable prices and extremely friendly service. Was the first place we went last time we visited The Isle. Can't wait to visit again next time.

An absolutely fantastic cafe in Ryde serving scrumptious home made food. The chicken pie, lamb stew and cheese sandwiches were absolutely superb. We just managed to find space for the home made apple pies and apple crumbles with custard, which provided more of the same magic! Everything at fair prices a nice cup of tea was a £1 ! and very importantly, really lovely staff. A chap with some apparent mental health issues entered and the owner immediately went over and chatted with him to make him feel valued. A lovely human gesture especially as he didn't actually buy anything. Lovely people, nice atmosphere and terrific food. NB: Don't forget to ask them about the two nuns and the streaker...
Extremely friendly atmosphere. Really reasonable prices. Good, large portions of freshly cooked food. Frequented by locals, always a good sign. Made to feel at home and we were recognised staff after just one visit. Definitely go there again. X
First time ever eaten in here, enjoyed very much. Had the jumbo hot dog and chips. Good portion sizes & very reasonable priced. Would recommend a visit here yo anyone. Will be returning when back in Ryde.
We ordered a tea to go but sat at a table for 5 mins as our 89 year old nan was tired. We intended on taking our teas to go when she had rested and the owner came over and gave us a lot of attitude saying we were taking up tables when there were 5 other free tables with no other customers sitting down. She basically chased us away from the venue. Very unwelcoming and we won’t be going back.
Amazing service, such polite staff and reasonable price. Waiting time was great about 5 to 10mins from ordering. Will definitely go again.
A lovely cafe staffed by very lovely people. Always have their breakfast when I visit. Good value for money and would recommend to anyone.
