Excellent course in great condition. Electric fast greens with some wicked pin positions but a really enjoyable round of golf to be had. Large car park , friendly and helpful staff all helps to have a grand day out.
The course is in excellent order taking into account the weather conditions. Visitors who played in the open were very impressed. The Clubhouse refurbishment is almost complete, and will be welcoming members and guests for functions by mid July .
Great course and a great welcome from the staff
Staff very helpful and friendly food excellent highly recommended. Course in excellent condition hats off to the ground staff. JEFF JONES Cobblers golf society
Lovely staff and friendly members. Course was in really good shape; challenging at times, but fair. It could do with a bit more signage as the next tee is sometimes not very obvious. Minor point though; really enjoyed it.
I don't play golf. I was there fundraising for a charity and all staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a great bacon roll on arrival and a very pleasant meal at lunchtime. Players I spoke with, both members and visitors enjoyed the course. If you play golf give it a try. I have nothing negative to say about the place.
Had a great time at Coed, the course was in good nick even on an early morning at the tail end of November. I played with a member who had the inspired suggestion that we order bacon rolls before the round to be collected from outside the club bar when we returned from the first six hole loop. They were delicious and set us up for the next twelve holes. The course has some memorable holes, the fifth where you play a dogleg left around an old wall which blocks you out unless you are a long hitter and the ninth which is a tight downhill left hander which is bad news for a terminal fader read "slicer" like me as it has a pond on the right hand side of the "elbow". I will be back - and not just for the bacon rolls, either.
My wife and I took our Granddaughter to the club for Sunday lunch today. The food and service were excellent . Meat, vegetables and accompaniments were really excellent and reasonably prices. There are probably cheaper places to get a Sunday roast, but not at this level of home-cooked quality. If anyone is looking for a Sunday lunch venue, I heartily recommend trying the club.
I have photographed 2 weddings here! And they have always been so helpful towards me and extremely friendly :
Can't fault this golf club. When my old club moved to pay as you play CYM were excellent in helping us move to them. Club Officials are very helpful. Greenkeeping staff have been tremendous. Looking forward to sampling their social side more when we are able and restrictions ease.
