What a little gem of a restaurant! Friendly and helpful staff, well layed out modern design with the most beautiful food I've had in years. Even better than a lot of the Thai restaurants I've eaten at in Thailand. Can't rate this place highly enough.
We visited on Sunday evening of the bank holiday and were able to sit outside, as we hadn't booked. It was a lovely warm evening so we didn't mind, our starters chicken skewers & spring rolls were delicious and arrived promptly. There was a fair wait for the mains but it was a very busy bank holiday, by the time they arrived it was dark and had gone a bit chilly, however we were provided with blankets which did help. The mains were absolutely delicious and the staff were very pleasant and attentive, we will definitely be returning.
Great food. Very popular place in Summer but they managed to get us a table for my birthday. The food is excellently presented and in good portions with an impressive menu to choose from. This restraunt in my families opinion is a like gem hidden away easy to overlook.
Brilliant food and they also do takeaway! Not very large so gets busy and you need to book, but well worth the effort and highly recommended. Update Aug 2019: unfortunately not as good as before, staff pre-occupied with their phones and the food a little bland. Our table was directly under the air-con unit and we were freezing cold...
Shockingly expensive, some dishes like pad Thai were literally 4 times the cost of the same dish at similar restaurants. Not a Thai person in sight which may explain why all the dishes were over seasoned with salt and my fish dish was swimming in an inedible sauce of salty soy sauce and vinegar. It was so bad it spoiled the fish. I would have ordered something else but since I had to take out a second mortgage to pay I ended up going hungry. Shame on you coconut cove for being so greedy and a terrible chef. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and ever go to such a terrible restaurant.
Lovely place quirky decor. Parking is a challenge but we got lucky probably as midweek mid November. Food was excellent, very tasty with plenty of choice and the staff were efficient and friendly.
a great meal for two. A special dinner out and as busy as they were the service was great, not over bearing, meals were tasty with a hint of Thailand. definitely return and recommend to others.
Staying in Pwllheli we were looking for a local fish restaurant and we spotted the Coconut Cove. Whilst not exclusively a fish restaurant we were attracted by the menu and we were not disappointed. If you like Thai Cuisine this place is excellent. Sea Bass and Jumping Fish were heavenly.
Excellent meal, and considering we all had different preferences, absolutely No spice, totally vegan to name just two! the wonderful waiting staff and kitchen went out of their way to adapt the dishes to suit! Thanks guys, we will be back!
Food was great, service very slow. Not shown to our table, just pointed that it's over there, not very attentive, had to ask to be served. Not exactly a welcoming place!
