Lovely cream tea with attentive service.
It was our first visit to this charming cafe, a warm and welcoming place on a damp Saturday. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino and the cappu had good froth! Our sandwiches with crisps and side salad were excellent. Reasonable prices, pleasant staff.
We popped in today after having a look at the bluebells in Slindon. We had a hummus sandwich and a tuna toastie in the courtyard and they were very generous with all the ingredients and everything was super fresh. Afterwards we had a slice of red velvet cake and a hot chocolate which were delicious.
Very friendly staff! Saved my day when I was looking for something to eat at around 4pm. Lovely garden to sit out
Cute cafe, relatively quick service. However I ordered a vegetarian mature cheese, tomato and onion sandwich, unfortunately half way through noticed a piece of ham attached to it so couldn’t finish of the meal. Rest of the orders were all ok.
The Day we visited it was busy but space was found we had coffee which was great and had a light bite to eat which was very nice .
Best Tea Room in Sussex. Everytime we go, we always recieve the best coffee or tea & friendly service. There is often a variety of very delicious cakes and treats, with generous servings too. The sandwiches and snacks too are also very tasty. Cosy interior with a few other interesting items for sale.
Afternoon tea and cake. Just my bad luck that I wasn't keen on the cake selection. Just my bad luck that a gaggle of noisy snowflakes came and sat next to us.
