We  held the Cycling Without Age Scotland annual Gathering in the hall.nnVery clean, great food and helpful staff.

Great place to catch the beautiful scenery and great for a walk hike dog walk or cycle

If you're passing Cochrane Hall  pop in see the ladies for a coffee and biscuits  and have a walk round the park

Ok. Wasn't expecting an amazing experience, going to a community hall for a Wedding. In my previous experience of such places, we're mediocre at best, mostly fairly run-down buildings and staff fairly uninterested in the future of the place. Also a feeling of everyone just trying to muddle through and make do.nThe Cochrane Hall was not like that. Not the most spectacular building, however, it was functional and freshly decorated with modern lighting.nI was there for a wedding which seemed to be run in conjunction with what appeared to be a local charity and a couple of local businesses. It was all very well run and all the staff were very friendly. The day went without a hitch. In fact was much better organised than some of the more grand wedding venues and the food was spot on. Again better than usual mass roll out meals.
