Receptionists are unhelpful and act like gate keepers keeping us away from thendoctors.This system does not work ,trying to get an appointment with Dr.Mead not available for advanced 2 week booking ,how does that work. This surgery has really gone done in my estimation.
Dr Rutledge was just amazing arranging an admission for a stroke at Epsom All good now. My daughter and I appreciated being included in calls. All practice staff are excellent!
The Receptionists are really rude and unhelpful and put the phone down on you.No wonder the NHS has such a bad reputation. Glad I am moving. Dr Norman is a very good GP
It really isn’t a great experience. You have to call at 08:30 sharp for an appointment and if you’re lucky you’ll get an appointment with a paramedic, not necessarily a qualified doctor. The reception team stop at just short of being rude, but trying to get an answer is a challenge. I suspect that the practice is well and truly over-subscribed and in order to provide the best service possible for patients in their catchment they need to disown the patients that no longer live in the area of their responsibility. Those patients could move to a practice in their own area. Once you are in front of a doctor the service is good, but their appointment system just isn’t viable. I called at 08:30 sharp this morning and was immediately number 9 in the queue. I wasn’t given the opportunity to see a doctor, merely a paramedic who was not qualified to deal with my illness and dismissed it as viral and sent on my way. To my way of thinking, this has the propensity for being potentially dangerous. I have edited this review following a follow up appointment and I realise that the staff are doing their hardest but unfortunately had some sickness with the staff to contend with. I have been assured that I will have a home visit today
New medication reviews for mental health are being given incorrect information by receptionists who call you back after waiting and hour for a reply. And told `new mediation review` no longer with a doctor and takes you off the waiting list and puts you into another group that is also incorrect. This is very danagious when this meds are keeping you on the straight and narrow and they keep messing it up before you can even talk to a doctor. This is my day two of trying but what if you have a job! I have had 5 hours sleep and angry because I can't talk to the doctor to get new medication put it onto prescription box because of no reviews yet the doctors ask you to review, it's not the patient. No meds for a month to change to one to help me sleep and now doing this day 2. The doctors are amazing here it's just the rest of it that needs re training it's very scary what is happening to vurnable patients who have no idea what to do and how to get through to someone to get to doctors!.
