My husband and I registered with this practice when we moved to North Lanarkshire in 2005. Throughout these sixteen years we have received a high standard of care. All medical practitioners have been extremely attentive and thorough in their assessments, treatment and onward referrals for our health care. The fact that we get to speak to a doctor, who on listening to our symptoms, makes a decision whether we need to be seen or not, I think is tremendous. Yes, you may have a lengthy wait.... I don't mind, what a service. Thank you so much to this practice for your care and attention, which has maintained very high standards despite the pandemic. I hear friends talk about their difficulties getting through to their doctor and I am eternally grateful for the service my husband and I receive from Waverly.
Have attended the practice for my whole life and don't think I could go anywhere else now. Doctors have always been very caring and patient with me. Follow up appointments or referrals are done very quickly in my experience. Any health concerns I have are taken seriously and the doctors go to great lengths to help me in any way they can. Self check in screens can be a bit of a problem at times and it sometimes feels like you wait ages at the reception but overall I can't praise the doctors enough for everything they do.
Avoid at all costs; this is an absolute farce of a practice. 15 years I was with Dr Singh at Blairgrove, and I always saw the same doctor and received my prescription the same day. Since being moved to Waverley I haven't seen the same Doctor twice, mostly been dealt with over the phone, my medication has been cut to half the supply per time, and when I do have to re-order it has never taken less than 3 or 4 days for the resupply to come in.nnI ask you, what it is the point of giving us a repeat medication slip if we just have to call up and order it again anyway? It completely defies logic.nnOh, and quick shout out to the reception staff who have all the tact and manners of a grumpy nanny goat with a hangover.
It's an excellent way to communicate the fact you can get right through to a doctor for a telephone triage is amazing. We should think ourselves lucky as some practices you need to call about 100 times to get through to be told by the receptionist that there are no appointments left. The fact the doctors give out the appointments is amazing. We are VERY lucky to have this system.
If myself and my Husband could rate this practice zero stars we would!nThe receptionists are on mobile phones or gossiping when they should be assisting patients!nThe Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager are a disgrace to the Surgery!nYou are removed of their register through no fault of your own but at the decision of an inexperienced Assistant.nLeft without repeat medications whilst under GP treatment!nThe practice is awful and needs inspecting URGENTLY!nThey are not empathetic towards patients and lie through their teeth!nAVOID this GP Surgery if you know what's good for you!
