As soon as you arrive you will be taken back by the decor at this time of year with the wonderful Christmas setting. We had lentil soup with crusty bread and butter for starters and it was lovely. Mains we had Thai chicken breast with rice which was nice and not to spicy. We also had chicken fajitas which comes with a nice serving platter tray. For dessert I had the sticky toffee Sunday and this was great. All in all a great dining experience with The Coast and we will be back again soon. Vegetarian options: Yes. Kid-friendliness: High chairs. Parking: Efficient parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Dietary restrictions: Information on menu.
Used to come here years ago when it was Langbank Lodge. Last day in the area and we went for lunch. Loved the new building. Beautifully bright, great views. Parking was always an issue and it still is. I wouldn't want to live in that street with how busy it was and that was on a Monday! Hubby had steak and chips which he loved. Steak was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. I had the haddock and salmon pie which was the perfect sized portion and really delicious. Cost for both portions with a beer, a glass of wine and a cappuccino was £54. Wish we still stayed in the area for this restaurant. Pics are the view from outside the restaurant.
Hadn’t been for a few months as the service/food didn’t match the price. Last night was superb though. Front of house staff were much better and food was perfect
Beautiful location with a water view. Well kept toilets and easy access throughout the building. Lovely friendly staff and a very varied menu. Extremely comfortable with catering for food allergies. Lovely at sunset and outside surrounding makes beautiful photographs
Dine in as an off chance am for was so nice :. Lovely atmosphere, staff very friendly and the food was scrummy. If passing would definitely come back. Lovely to look out at the water
Scrummy Steak & Sausage Pie been away from Scotland for a long time and was dreaming of steak pie, this one did not disappoint for the first time in ages. Great location and great service at a very reasonable price. I'll be back.
We had a lovely dining experience with very attentive front of house team. The restaurant itself has a fantastic view over the Clyde and is airy and spacious yet furnished so the experience feels intimate. The children's menu was full of choice and portion sizes were generous. The main menu was similarly full of choice with generous portions and well presented. Highly recommended.
First time visiting but certainly won't be our last! Everything was spot on from the decor to the food and the service was excellent and attentive at all times. Had a really wonderful time. Not overpriced either. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: A good choice, not just the bog standard options. Delicious!
Food was excellent as was everything else ,very good service and a beautiful restaurant.
Fantastic restaurant with stunning views of Dumbarton Rock and Castle. The cauliflower tacos, Sav Blanc from NZ, fish and caramel brownie had a lot of flavors and were fantastic! We will return!
