Friendly, helpful, understanding and engaging team at the Coast. First time lunch visit for 4 adults and one 2year old. We were made to feel comfortable from the second we walked in. The food was of high quality and tasty with good portions for lunch at great price. Highly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
We had a wonderful Christmas lunch at Coast today so just had to review our experience. Our party of 16 were delighted with our food, absolutely first class. Many of the ladies had never visited the restaurant before, what a treat for them. We were all blown away by the quality of the meal and the excellent service. There had been a mixup at some point after booking which was generously resolved so thank you for that. Your staff were amazing!
First visit here, with senior family. Ambience very good on first impression and the girls who served us were polite and efficient. Mains, sliced beef in peppercorn sauce, very good with garlic potatoes. I had the apple and raspberry crumble, which was tasty with ice cream...however, what was on the plate was about £5's worth, not £7.., which won't stop me paying a second visit, but I might try starter and mains next time.
I highly recommend the surf n turf, absolutely beautiful, steak is juicy, but the prawns steal the show, they taste so fresh and the creamy garlic sauce is delightful, perfectly salted. The sweet potato fries were also lovely, with them being cooked to perfection. !
We really love this place food is always great and its good value. Staff are so friendly but we wer disgusted at wot happened today...2 southern irish work men in for lunch wearing high vis vests. Older 1 had 2 courses wen fin 2nd course of fish & mash bent down produced a hair and put it into his mash complained and his meal was taken off his bill! The staff wer very visibly upset at this so i told them wot i had seen. I didnt say anything wile these guys wer still there as a situation like that can b very volitile! I hope other restaurants read this and keep an eye out for these kind of ppl. And to the lovely staff in this restaurant keep up the good work u r a credit to the owner and to urselves ur doing a fantastic job and ur food is always delicious. There are some low lifes about!!! Hope ur day improved after that.
We had a large booking of 20 people here for our children’s christening celebrations. Clive and the rest of the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Really family friendly, the food and service were both fantastic, we’ll definitely be back!
Friendly staff - have been a few times now - nice set up inside. Food was good - a nice place to grab some lunch or dinner, with or without others. Kid-friendliness: They have good booths to site in - so semi private, great for families. Not the biggest location - but great if you get a good table. You can book in advance! Parking: There is a good paid park around the back of the location.
My husband and I had lunch here yesterday, really enjoyed our meal,the staff were very friendly and the service very efficient,will come back.
Always enjoy the food here but think they're struggling with staffing at present. Won't put me off dining here. Mussels and prawns are amazingFood: 4/5
