A handy relatively small store which stocks a host of groceries, vegetables, wines, beer, soft drinks and much more. The entrance is accessible by wheelchair using the ramp. There is a free ATM provided on the front of the store.
I had a nasty fall in this store a few weeks ago, due to the fact I could not get past all of the stacking boxes in the aisle. One of the assistants was very kind to me, but the manageress was not in the slightest interested. I have made a written complaint to head office but no reply. I am delighted to see the recent opening of a strong competitor nearby. Perhaps now Co-op no longer have the monopoly in the area they may stop their complacency and actually treat customers with respect. I won't be shopping there again.
An INCONVENIENT store if ever there was one......when eventually finding a staff member to ask about a product missing from the shelves, was informed 'they probably had some but it would be impossible for her to find' At the till, the checkout person was carrying on a conversation with a colleague about their holidays, which did not stop while I was paying. Do these people not realise that without customers they will have no jobs?
Quiet village sometimes. Conveniently situated from a590 and m6. Can be busy particularly in some shops.
I visited this store on Saturday 29th September looking for a disposable BBQ could not see one on the shelves anywhere, so I approached a member of staff a very pleasent young man who said he thinks he had seen some he appeared a few seconds later with one from upstairs thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to find it very much appreciated.
Small, but adequately stocked for most basic items. Good opening times.
One of the smaller coop stores. Well stocked. Helpful staff
