Grim. In during lunchtime, bigger queues as expected but felt understaffed. Server was having to help with the invasive video self service tills. Limited parking due to bus lane at front of store. Parking at shopping centre, but hardly a store of convenience.
I was in the shop aroud 17:20, 07.07.2024, had a back pack on as i was travelling for the weekend. I got in the shop and was followed around by an eldery caucasian shop assistant. I went to the soft drinks isle where 1 of his colleague was stacking the shelves and he was still looking at me thinking that i was going to shop lift. Absolute disgrace. @coopfood get your staff train right and stop labelling your customers, its 2024. I will avoid shoping here and for potential shoppers please do not shop here. I hope Karma will get the shop assistant for his behaviour, mentality and mindset. Avoid at all cost.
I used to be a loyal customer, however my latest experience as a delivery driver put me off this place as well as a customer. I arrived to pick up my UBER order and I had to wait in a long queue with other customers for at least 15 minutes, after a while of waiting I have decided to let the customer service assistant know I am there and I simply asked to be handed my order in order to keep the business going.. She dismissed me rudely saying “ You’re not important” in front of all the other customers who were staring at me. After all she handed me the order and she has left me a negative feedback talking about professionalism she had enough time to leave a feedback but she never had time to hand me an order. I think it’s a form of discrimination judging someone by his job, since a delivery driver is still a human who deserves some respect. If you’re busy serving other customers you can simply use technology calling one of your colleagues helping out drivers.. due to that location we are not allowed to park for loading at all times , some drivers are paying for their insurance based on hourly rates so think about it before judging.
This one is a small store compared to other Grocery store like Aldi, Lidl etc but they got covered of all important items required for daily groceries. Its way over priced. But you will always find things here and most importantly the self checkout is cool. Staff is kind and helpful.
I love going there but the staff are always in a hurry n they don’t like to help if you can’t see something
The store is nice and clean and the staff are not only helpful, but nice and friendly. Social distancing is in place at this store and there may be a queue in operation to enter the store. This store stocks a mix of own and well known brands from canned foods to household cleaning. Fruit and vegetables to ice cream. They also sell newspapers, cigarettes and alcohol. The store also has a self service section so you can get your goods, scan at the self serve checkout, pay and then leave.
Just back home from holiday weekend. Needed to stock up again. Very handy as open later. Friendly young staff in tonight. Quieter than bigger stores. Good quality produce.
Relatively expensive for day to day items that you could find cheaper in other nearby shops. It is open until 10 pm 7 days a week however, which is very convenient. Also, as is typical for co-op stores, they have a great selection of wines compared to other places in the area, as well as beers and spirits.
This branch rarely has anything I need. No oat milk, usually just soya. Apart from custard donughts the only edible vegan produce is fruit & veg and I find most things more expensive than other shops. Always disappointed when I visit.
Good shop for last minute stuff. Bit pricey but plenty of choice products.
