3rd consecutive visit in 3 days in the morning to goto work. 3 time no decent sandwiches or wraps, lots of empty shelf spaces though. If it's a case of selling out, here's a thought order more. Probability is that they just didn't get much stock in at all looking at all the other empty shelves in the place.
Small local convenience store with limited stock choice. long opening hours and a free ATM. You cannot be in a hurry to shop here. And return visit this morning gave nothing away to say things had improved. While I was waiting for assistance because of a problem at the self serve till a queue of 5 built up at the other till where none existed initially. One female staff watching eventually directed a male to the till, I was ignored.despite him being aware my problem and so I left without the shopping and bought elsewhere.nIs the ethos here “For an easy life make the customer wait and then shelves do not need stacking so rapidly.”
It's common for there to be no staff on the cash desks or near the self check out. If you have any issues on the self check out you have to scour the store on the hope of finding someone.
Having recently moved to Corbridge, I cannot say how disappointed I am with the village Co-op. I am fully supportive of the ethics of the group as a whole and have shopped regularly in more rural Co-op's.nFor a reasonably affluent village this store has a grubby, badly managed feel with grumpy service and inappropriately loud music on top!
Early opening with late closing and ATM machine. I am still confused as to why the sliding doors to many of the chilled items are locked open. Milk was warm and also white wine .... don't get the logic.
