Myself and my Mother went to see the Co-op funeral Care on Rodway Road a couple of days after my dads death and Kate and Sara could not have been more helpful. They made a very stressful time very straightforward for my mother. My Dad was a straight forward simple man who hated wasting money, The Funeral home understood this and did not try to push mahogany caskets or unwanted extras although they clearly explained the options. The funeral itself was nearly 4 weeks later due to the coroners and that ran as smooth as clockwork, no fuss no drama and perfectly timed. We weren't there too early, waiting about in the cold while the crematorium emptied from the previous funeral, and the celebrant finished in enough time to allow us a dignified unrushed exit from Canford Cremotorium before the next funeral came in. The celebrant was outstanding, a gentleman called Richard Evans who did an excellent job in capturing my dads life in clear words with the right amount of sombreness - he was arranged by the co-op too. No one ever wants to visit a funeral directors however if i had to i would not hesitate to walk through their door
