We lost my mum in January and co-op Funeralcare were great right from the start. After making one phone call that same day everything was set in motion, receiving a phone call from Holly in New Milton, to arrange an appointment. She was excellent, with a great personality, she made it a pleasant experience arranging everything during such a sad time. Helen who performed the service is a lovely lady, professional and compassionate. She created a lovely service, with perfect songs and a poem that was so apt. She was always on hand to help and give loads of advice. The service went extremely well with not a single hitch. It was dignified, respectful and personal. The flowers were spectacular and Steve the funeral director was also very helpful and professional. Nothing was left to chance and we had many phone calls to check things were on track. From the planning to the actual funeral I could not have asked for a better service or experience. A big thank you to everyone.
The service provided by the New Milton branch of Coop Funerals for my Mum’s was abysmal. We constantly had to ring to chase up arrangements, could only get through to the call centre who said they would leave a message and someone would contact us back. But still had to ring again as no one ever did. When a loved one dies there is so much to sort out that constantly have to chase up every little detail for the Funeral makes things so much worse. We initially started making arrangements with the branch in Watford where we live and the service provided was amazing. I have given 2 stars as the service provided by Tracy, the Funeral Director at my Mum’s Funeral was so compassionate and professional. If I was rating this review on the day it would have been 5 stars but the hassle of making arrangements and even trying to get the invoice means I would not recommend this branch to anyone.
I met with Holly at Co-op funeral home, I found her very caring and easy to talk to, I needed to arrange a funeral for my husband, I honestly recommend this funeral home, prices are reasonable and they arrange everything.
