Very very rude staff. I was in with my partner and his nephew9 year old the woman at the till looked at him and accused him of stealing a drink that he had walked into the shop with. I politely told her he’d bought it elsewhere and she was being very rude. I told her to check the cameras and she again was very rude replying “maybe we will”. We walked out the shop with the shopping I had PAYED for just to look back through the window to see both staff members giving me a nasty look. Absolutely ridiculous that they treat a member of the public that way when they are representing a big company like that. Very disappointed.

NEWBIGGINCENTRAL CO-op. Very poor service. Poor awareness of disability issues. Staff member at the till was sarcastic & rude, apparently I had committed the ‘cardinal sin’ of jumping the queue. Instead of letting me know there was a queue the customer behind me thought it was hilarious when the staff member was rude to me. It may well have been. However, I’m registered blind and clearly had a large white guide cane in my hand. Disgusting behaviour to disability shame someone like this- clearly a training need here. I for one won’t be darkening their doors again!

Very nice store, nice staff. Self-checkouts are very smooth and responsive, love those!

This is a bright and welcoming shop which stays open until quite late which is always handy if you have forgotten to buy something you really need.nIt's also a pick up point for Hermes: so you can collect and drop off your parcels there - uber handy!nPleasant helpful staff too...
