Great staff. Very freindly. Great selection of foods. Parking off road is available. Free cash point machine outside the shop so is 24 hour. Also has a jet wash here.
The manager or so he claims with the blue dyed beard can be quite rude, unhelpful and ignorant to customers. He won't be able to be like that when ASDA take over - they won't stand for those complaints like COOP do.
Today I was greeted by a staff member who said "no need to wear a mask, they never worked anyway", as I was struggling to keep my mouth covered. I remember she also gave some great advice about the fuel at the coop being better than anywhere else as it lasts longer. If you want advice on how to live, don't go to that coop. If you want fuel don't go to that coop as it's very expensive.
This is my local. Never had any problems with the staff and quite like the atmosphere in the store. It's a petrol station coop so the quality is not like a normal coop but the prices aren't higher. Love the long opening hours, its the only decent store open sometimes
I cannot believe how rude the guy with the blue beard is!! He obviously doesn't want to be there, no need to be so rude to customers!! Thankfully I was only passing through on a first and last ever visit!
What a grumpy bunch. Should your front of house staff really have almost no Customer Service skills? It's been the same for at least the past 3 years I have lived here. I regret going in everytime I have to use the place.
Need a better way to pay for fuel. Stand in a queue with 8 baskets full of shopping. In front of you It's just a joke. Wish I could give 0 stars.. needs a fuel only till.
The co-op is usually my 1st choice but this was really bad. Wanted to fill up a large campervan but fuel stopped at £60 because they have theft problems. Started and stopped again. Then I bought 2 meal deals but was charged for 3 but didn't notice until later. Staff not well trained and seemed to have no idea how to deal with a simple issue. Spent about 20 minutes here when it should have taken about 5 minutes.
Food great , staff : vast majority are very friendly and helpful , except on one occasion. I got fuel and and a magnum on way to till, sign says ‘ queue here for fuel only’ I now understand this means ‘just ‘ fuel ie no other items but at the time I genuinely thought I was standing in the right queue. The checkout guy-- loudly told me to ‘join the back of the queue’ when I explained I had fuel he said ‘ yes but you’ve got that as well’ It was embarrassing to say the least. I know the staff have a difficult job to ensure compliance but why not use a bit of discretion and not treat me like I was trying to scam the system? The sign should make it clearer, something I raised with the guy but he disagreed , admittedly I was frustrated . The customer ISN'T always right and maybe I need clearer instructions than others but all that was needed was a simple explanation not a reprimand from someone with a bad attitude. Very disappointed
Never had an issue here before tonight but i was extremely upset and angry tonight when a member staff went off on one at me. I was asked for id which due to my age made me chuckle and i as i handed over my id that was it the member of staff started having a go at me. Maybe the member of staff had a bad day or maybe they were tired im not sure but regardless there is no excuse to take it out on another customer. On the plus side the coop do a sticky toffee tart thing which i tried for the first time today and its beautiful.
