Surprised at the size of the shop as was expecting it to be a much smaller shop. Large car park, cash point and public toilet. It’s a co-op so not the cheapest for groceries but able to get what needed and convenient.
One of the best Co-operative Food outlets in the area, and huge in size for such a small town. A large selection of food items and an additional clothing section. Well worth a trip if you're in the area.
A well laid out store in the lovely village town of Machynlleth. There is ample parking to the rear of the store and a wide range of options available in store. There are normal tills as well as self service.
Pretty big shop. Fairly lots of different product. Good prices. Very busy every time we have visited. Staff quite friendly and helpful, but not many on the shop floor. Very covid aware, no mask - no entry. The car park just outside of the shop. Always busy too! Especially on Wendsdays - market day in Machynlleth. :
The Store and staff were amazing all through lockdown with shop well signposted for social distance shopping. Now that some sense of normality has returned they continue to do their best and always are very helpful. The store is clean and tidy as they still struggle with supply chains. Thankfully the Co op has its own markets so locally sourced food should not be such a problem as other suppliers have had. Thanks, keep up the good work.
Decent Co-op, massive selection, good car park, 4 stars instead of 5 as it’s so dam expensive
It is convenient but expensive but there is little other choice in the area. Useful for topping up on a handful of items during the week between online Asda shops. I wouldn't recommend it for a full shop unless you are seriously desperate or if you've got more money than sense. Even the Co Op member savings don't make much of a dent at the check out.

Good sized Coop that has everything I need. Been my local shop for many years. Always a good experience shopping there.
Large reasonably stocked Co-op with parking and cash point, good range of local and branded produce and some clothing. Very disjointed layout making items difficult to find. Spent lots of time walking around the store and still struggled to find what I needed. Friendly helpful staff, who were able to point me in the right direction. Why is there no bottled water, unless sparkling in many stores I've visited in Wales? New policy?
