Terrible !! Workers are all rude and lacks diversity. Came in last week the worker started screaming “sita there’s a big mouse in here” which put off a lot of customers because now we know they have rats. They tried chasing it but it went deeper into the shop. Also the security guard is useless Everytime I come in he’s always following me around despite seeing an elderly man steal he rather follow me. Whenever I pass the shop I just see him on his phone not paying attention. As soon as I come in he wants to start working. YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE STAFF ASAP!!
Please stop replacing things on Uber eats, if I asked for salmon FILLETS I don’t want SMOKED salmon instead. And then there’s no way to contact the shop via UBEREATS, had to find the number online which wasn’t picked up. Just put OUT OF STOCK. STOP REPLACING WITH THINGS THAT MAKES NO SENCE.
Any time I've ordered from here something is always missing or wrong item sent. Today my fiance ordered and he go brown bacon with one open and item sent we didn't ordered and wanted a refund for.
Rude staff. Always short of staff and looks like a family business that is run by the father as the manager, wife, brothers, sisters and kids. Lack of diversity and you can clearly see it. Very rude staff who lack customer service experience. In several occasions when I am shopping there, they will be no one on the till, and I will be standing there for a few minutes without assistance, but I can see staff wondering around stocking the shelves and just ignore me standing. There is 2 or 3 self checkup tills and when the robot inside the self checkout blocks you no one comes to speak to it. In 2 different occasions I went there and was asking a female staff a question about where to find something, she just ignored me and walk away, and she repeat the same reaction a few months when I returned there. Not a pleasant place to shop.
Absolutely useless store, half of the shelves are always empty. The staff seem to be doing everything to not do anything. When you ask for someone at the till, you are ridiculed and told to use the self checkout even though you might need tobacco. Very rude and lazy staff contribute to the shortages found at this store. I had asked Food Standards Agency to investigate some of the ham and chicken products at this store. Always smells off, maybe due to the fact the staff are also too lazy to close the fridges after the customers. Absolutely avoid at all cost.
Really poor customer service. There is an older Sri Lankan man who is suppose to be a duty manager but cannot solve any issues. He is rude and does not know what customer service is. Some staff need more training.
Lovely staff! Convenient. Well worth a visit for your shopping needs.
Unbelievable service they didn't let me buy a drink that I bought yesterday and today they didn't let me. unfriendly service
This is the nearest grocery store to me. Staff are generally pleasant. The issue I have is they always have green banana's or too ripe. Never right. Since Brexit there is less variety of products and there is always a shortage of staff with long lines and one person serving. Other than that, fine for basic items. Opens early and closes late. They have a lot of issues recently with shoplifters! Happened once when I was in there which was scary but they have installed more security cameras now.
Whilst the store is very convenient and well stocked normally, the attitude of the manager is appalling. I went in there to buy a small bottle of milk but there were none on the shelves. I duly asked a member of staff, who was filing up nearby, if they had any and he said they did. However, he refused to get any as he was busy filing up the meat cooler and refused to ask any of his colleagues. On my way out, I asked Barbara, who is regularly on the checkout, why I couldn't have any. She said I could and was very annoyed that her colleague would not help me. It turns out he was the manager! Shocking service from the so called manager. It gets worse, the next day, he starts arguing with me about the incident! This has been passed to Head Office to deal with, hopefully he will appreciate that customers are important and come before his needs.
