Absolutely wonderful service! I did a click and collect order because I'm in the middle of hiking the coastal path with my dog, so can't go inside supermarkets as I have nowhere to safely leave her. There were a few things out of stock that I desperately needed to last me until the next shop, and the man who bought me my shopping kindly offered to wait outside with my dog while I went and found alternatives. What a gem!
Visited 13th July 2020 when under lockdown. Store very well marked out for one way use during Covid 19 pandemic.
Great store in the centre of Barmouth which stocks everything you could want when here on holiday. Clean store, friendly staff.
Only supermarket in Barmouth aside from a little Iceland. Choice would be good if there was any stock on the shelves. Many items out of stock entirely today. Whilst the cashier wasn't rude to me directly, I did see them being very rude to a vulnerable customer. Not great.
Rude unhelpful staff. Self-service machine useless, left half the shopping in basket as wouldn't scan. Never again.
Well stocked large shop with a Costa express! What more can you ask for?? I used the self serve till so can't comment on the customer service aspect. There was no queuing, which is always welcome in these crazy times. The car park entrance is difficult to navigate with a large vehicle. If its a camper van or similar size, the turn is incredibly tight and you would probably need to park elsewhere. The parking is free for 30 minutes, otherwise you need to pay.
Terrible staff this evening, I wanted some cigarettes but no staff at the kiosk, after waiting at the kiosk for a couple of minutes I asked a member of staff if they could help, when out of no where comes the kiosk staff member Dave? he starts ranting and raving that people need to have patients and people think they are so entitled!, I complained to the so called manager who really didn’t care - apparently Dave is normally pretty good!, I understand that today has probably been a busy day with the nice weather but to have a staff member saying things like that in front of customers is a liability, the thing is I thought they may be short staffed and that the kiosk wasn’t been manned this evening hence why I asked.
This is already an expensive supermarket but check your receipt as they regularly will over charge relative to the price on the shelf. 3 stars because the staff are ace.
Large co-op, good location behind the main high street.
Clean, well stocked and friendly. What more could you want. This is my local supermarket when I can walk across the viaduct, so it's important it meets my expectations.
