Love this supermarket. Bright, wide open n full of stock. I like it’s modern style layout. Chiller n frozen cabinet looks great. Wine section is really cool. Even its prices r bit high than other supermarkets but still it’s so convenient to have this in our area. On top of that, very big free car park at the rear, making it more easy to shop there. There’s a post office inside too so have more reasons to shop there.
Deceptively larger in size when compared to the store front. Clean aisles. Loads of produce and items. Good stock management.
I was charged for an item I never had on my basket. God thing I had the receipt and as I got home I realized an item on it I never bought - flower -£3.50.nAs I went back to request my money I was told that these things happen automatically and they will do a refund. I hope I will get it as it's not yet on my account.nBut what if I wouldn't had requested the receipt or what if this happens with let's say a hundred people per day and they don't check do the math's and you'll get an idea of some easy money for them. Unbelievable...this is happening! Check your receipts, sometimes you'll be surprised!
Jobsworth security guard. I accidentally pressed the button for one extra 5p bag instead of two at checkout. I had a long day at work, was feeling unwell and it was a genuine accident easy to make. He came over to make an absolute scene, spoke aggressively and treated me like a common thief when I had clearly paid for all my items. I apologised and explained this was an error and he continued to raise his voice in front of other shoppers and be rude. I asked him to chill out and said I wasn’t well and it was an accident and he got even more riled up. Will likely no longer shop here.
Most supermarkets don't typically answer their phones, but this Co-op did. I spoke with a delightful lady named Jamie who, despite being busy at the tills, kindly took the time to assist me and even arranged for someone to check if an item was in stock.
